    Girls High School Awards

    Katie Nicoson named MVP

    Katie Nicoson was selected as the Fairmont Cardinals girls soccer team's Most Valuable Player.  Nicoson, a junior midfielder, also became the program's first-ever all-state nominee.

    Morgan Timmerman earned the team's Defensive MVP award and Nicoson was tabbed the Offensive MVP.

    Freshman forward Sierra Schultz was tabbed Fairmont's Rookie of the Year, while senior defender Hannah Brau netted the Most Improved player award.

    Joe Driano named MVP

    Joe Driano was named MVP for the 2011 season.  Other awards were:

    Most Improved:  Brady Junkermeier

    Best Defensive Player:  Alex Kopischke

    Best Offensive Player: Grant Becker

    Coaches Award (Leadership):  Matt Tennyson

    All Conference Players:  Joe Driano, Grant Becker, Alex Kopischke, Brady Junkermeier, Lucas Miles,  Matt Tennyson   Honorable Mention:  Bruno Beidacki

    All State Honorable Mention:  Grant Becker
